Equipment: Theory
of Operation and Maintenance

class will be a half day’s training on Chlorine Vacuum Regulators,
Ejectors and the equipment and materials used to make up a Chlorine
System for Water, Wastewater and Industrial disinfection applications.
The Theory of Operation and Construction of several manufacturers’ devices will be covered “Hands-On” as well as the Maintenance and Testing Procedures used. Handling and use of Chlorine containers and auxiliary equipment and procedures will be covered, stressing the Safety aspects pertinent to operators, maintenance personnel and facilities.
The Class is Approved by the Operators Certification Board for 0.35 TU’s.
The Class will be taught by Thom DiGeronimo, who began working on Capital Controls, Fisher - Porter and Wallace & Tiernan chlorinators in 1979 at Tech Service Company. Having started his own service company in 1990, he still does factory start-up and service for Capital Controls and their local Representative, Canyon Systems as well as installation and field service of other manufacturers’ equipment.
A Master Instructor in the USAF, Thom trained Calibration
Technicians for USA, USAF, USN & USMC for three and a half years. He
spent a total of 9 years in the USAF and was a Master Technician. He
donates time training for A.W.W.A. and Colorado Rural Water Seminars as
well as these dedicated classes.
The cost of the Class will be $ 50.00 per person, payable by P.O. or
check prior to the class. The charge will be $ 60.00 when lunch and refreshments
are provided.
